At the University of Manitoba the faculty of Engineering is know to throw the best socials if your looking for a good old fashioned sloppy time. Our famed annual event is Wise Guys 101, held in our beloved campus bar Wise Guys is defiantly the social event of the year. Last year our theme was A.B.C. (Anything But Clothes), this year can only get better! The best non alcoholic event without a doubt is dodge ball. Same rules as the movie and with five times the intensity, our teams dress to impress and hurl those foam filled balls at each other all night long. A Date to note is January 20 to 24, WEC 2010 is being held at our university and we look forward to showing off our campus and showing all representatives how we do it in Manitoba.
